Indigo Dyeing
Take a journey into the magical world of indigo. You'll learn 3 shibori resist techniques to create pattern on your fabric. We'll discuss how to achieve a spectrum of shades and you'll go home with a set of indigo tea towels or bandana.
Petal Print Botanical Dyes
Learn to use flowers from the garden to create color, pattern and print on fabric. Create crisp prints and organic speckling. We'll work with marigolds and other flowers as we experiment with steaming and bundle dyeing.
Flower Hammering (Tataki-zome)
Use fresh flowers from the garden to hammer color and shape into fabric. This is a great party addition and is very accessible and fun for all ages. Kids love it!
