Pass Through

A soft sculpture made from silk organza and thread. In this sculpture, I wanted to create volume without using an armature so that the transparent quality of the fabric could really be the center of attention. I painted the organza in skin tones before cutting and sewing them into 4 section tubes. (Image above is a mockup of the piece as a partition wall in an Adobe Stock image.)
